Untitled-2 Finally had our i-think-is-annual-ex-roommates-gathering! The A.N.T. (Amy.Nadia.Ting) staying at A203 of UM 2nd Residential College in the year of 2010/11. Glad that this three very-soon-to-be-lawyer, soon-to-be-doctor, and soon-to-be-dentist *bow* unite to share gossips again!

Look how time has changed us over the years.

Our dinner at Oiso @ Bangsar South. The day i became an one-day-Korean (sequelae from previous blog post) after having lunch + dinner at 2 Korean restaurants. Coincidently bumped into my grad buddy Wil Liam here too! So tada! Another one-day-Korean hahahaha :P

Since we bought voucher from Living Social, all of these (Kimchi Steamboat, Seafood Bibimbap, BBQ Chicken, green teas) only cost us RM13 per person and we were super bloated (not sure if their stomachs are too small or servings are too big). Super worth it! And i like their side dishes too :))

1378857_10151593127455518_1684210849_n Volunteered for the dental booth at one of the charity carnival another day. Group pic with the coursemates, prof, postgrad doctor, technicians and other staffs. :D

Basically what we did was giving free dental screening, sales of oral hygiene kits, small exhibition and this! :

Sales of tooth models made of Plaster of Paris, for the public to paint on them out of their creativity.

And the above was what i did for most of the time hahahahaa painting models for myself and my friends. Not sure if i'm working as a volunteer here or reminiscing my good ol’ days playing with brush and paints. lulz.

Overall my skill is still okay right! right right right!!! It had been years from my zaman kegemilangan (if it ever existed).

12 Indonesian dental students from Universitas Trisakti, Jakarta visited UM few days ago. Yup, that was the uni i went for my outbound in July (read here)! Although none of them were of those i knew during outbound or APDSA, i still feel that i have the (informal) responsibility to welcome them and have an enjoyable stay in M’sia (chehhhhhh hahahahahaha), since i’d received great hospitality from their university during last visit and sorta promised their senior to look after them.

Supper at Kayu Nasi Kandar on the first day after the walk in MidValley. The initial plan was to bring them to the night market AAAAAAAANNDD the heaviest rain i’d ever witnessed decided to hit on, of all days, Thursday. Damn! Alternatively, i wanted to bring them to Sunway Pyramid or 1 Utama and my friends said that i would let them enjoy the view of the notorious traffic jam in KL up to 9pm. Okay fine. *sulk sulk*

And yes this Sylvia Lim got even more excited than the Indonesians at the sight of this Roti Tisu. HAHAHAHA.

Saturday afternoon at Pasar Seni for the souvenirs. :))

Musical fountain at the entrance of Suria, before we headed to Murni SS2 for their dinner (and my supper lol. my calories consumption for these few recent weeks has over-shoot up to the moon.)

Hope all of you enjoyed the short stay in Kuala Lumpur! Sorry for any inconvenience and troubles!

20131013_202430 Chopped the hair. Signifying a new start. Let our stories end with the end of the hairstyle you used to like.

(LOL die die also wanna make cutting hair sounds like a holy molly emotional farewell thing.)

The main reason was… i am sick of my damaged, dry and tangled hair ends they seemed like they had stayed in Sahara dessert for a decade. Mehhh.

Short holidays with mixed feeling. Dental students’ love-hate-relationship with sudden holidays.
